We’re hitting pause

 

MessyPup started off as our own personal gunge recipe that we used in films and productions, and we would give away any spare powder to people we knew. But in 2019, we decided to properly launch MessyPup. Since then, we’ve sold over 200,000 litres of gunge to countries around the world. From small orders to chaotically large last-minute ones. From seeing people’s reactions the first time they put their hand in a bowl of gunge, to watching our gunge being used on primetime TV – it’s been a pleasure to provide such a high quality product to so many people.

 

With success comes downsides. It has always been a challenge to keep up with demand, with stock sometimes coming in and then sent out in orders literally the same day. With suppler issues, global logistical chaos, costs rising on everything and personal health crises, we have overcome plenty. MessyPup has always been a small business run in our spare time.

 

But unfortunately our spare time only stretches so far. We recently had to turn off sales, not because we didn’t have stock, but because we just did not have the time to produce and fulfil orders. It has sadly become apparent to us that we can no longer dedicate the time needed to properly run MessyPup.

 

All of our available stock has been made and ready to ship. But once we sell out, we will be switching MessyPup off. At this current time, we do not know when, or even if, MessyPup will be able to reopen. We do not want to say goodbye, but neither do we want to promise a return that may not happen.
